This little fly is spending al lot of time in my garden together with a lot of friends (and girlfriends) so it's time to know his name. Is it maybe Delia platura? I find it hard to say. Many thanks.

Could be Delia platura, but the diagnostic leg bristles are not clearly visible. As this species is about the world's most common anthomyiid fly, it turns up everywhere except Antarctica!

Yes it iis Delia platura male. Note the fringe (comb) on the hind tibia postventrally, all the same length
