Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Temnostoma apiforme?

Hello!
I've never seen this large Syrphid before. I found similar fly in the gallery: Temnostoma apiformis (is "apiforme" more correct?), but I'm not sure.

Russia, 15 km NW from St.Petersburg (Toksovo), female (with attached male) was feeding on strawberry flowers in the garden. June 21, 2008.
