Dear forum,

This fly photographed on 15 July 2008 in the Netherlands.
Can someone ID this fly?
Perhaps a Scathophagidae Cordilura ?
And would it be possible to put a species name to it.?

Yes, Cordilura, most probably pubera or pudica
