Size: about 7 mm
Location: Southwest Sweden (V?sterg?tland)
Date: 2008-june-17
Habitat: Woodland

Agathomyia wankowiczii. female because the eyes do not meet dorsally.

Well done! This fly is very rarely seen as an adult. Not a single adult fly has been caught in Finland, but the galls (on polypores) are not that uncommon.

One hour ago I was looking at this fly again
It seems to be very attracted to a jung plant of Prunus padus

And to Stephane, the colour is correct
