I reared this ichneumonid(?) from a Zygaena trifolii pupa. What species can it be?

location: Salreu, Portugal
date: 03/06/2008

Note: the wasp seems to be full of eggs. That is strange because it has recently emerged:o.

Is it not possible to tell the genus or at least confirm the family:(?

I'd go as far as to say superfamily Ichneumonoidea, family Ichneumonidae... but that's where I get scared ;) and I wouldn't like to say if it was subfamily Ichneumoninae, Cryptinae or Banchinae... they are just too difficult and there is nothing very distinctive about this insect. Even if you had a good specimen and all the best keys (and there aren't keys for *big* groups) then you probably would spend hours trying to get a name for it :(
