Is this a Platypezidae
Maybe the Callomyia amouena ??

You're certainly right that it is a Platypezid, and
Callomyia seems a good bet.

Callomyia amoena male. Halteres yellow, grey dusted patterns on T2, T4 and T5. The median d seta on midtibia is also visible :)
