Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rhinophora lepida?

Hi,
Today I saw several small flies sitting on Verbascum leaves, and I suppose they are all Rhinophora lepida. Do you agree?

Correct.

The first ones of the season. They'll be around till August.

Ha - I identified a Rhinophorid at last! Thank you, Theo. The flies are much smaller than I expected, and I first thought of an Anthomyiid until I saw the magnified wing venation on the screen.
