Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyiidae: Anthomyia sp. --> A. procellaris

Hello!

Is it possible to determine these flies more closely? I'm not even sure, if they are the same species. The second one was slightly larger, but both were rather small, 3.5 resp. 4 mm. From May-22 in our garden (northwest Germany).

Almost certainly Anthomyia procellaris Rondani male.
