Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small Lauxaniidae? --> Chyromya (Chyromyidae)

Hello!

Sorry, I only have this picture. Is this 3 mm fly with the amazing eyes a Lauxaniid? Found on May-20 at a Crataegus hedge (northwest Germany). Thanks in advance!

Very interesting, many thanks! That's a new family for me (only 3 species in that genus in Germany, 5 in the whole family).
