Not sure if this is just a rather snazzy looking fly or one infected with a fungus but it could still fly normally - any ideas ? About 5mm body length taken yesterday South coast UK on a bay tree leaf.

Ah - not a fungal infection but think I've found it myself- Platypezidae: Polypivora ornata ?
