Dear forum,
I took this picture today in my garden. Is Tachinidae correct and could it be Cylindromya?
Best regards, Niek
PS: Something went wrong with my computer and this message was posted twice. Sorry for that, Niek

You can easily delete your double post by opening it and clicking the "edit" button, then going to "delete that post" - swooosh! is it gone. :D

Rui, may be you don't know, but it has become tradition to leave Mintho for Chris, since it is its favourite Tachinidae.
So Chris...

:o ...
Mintho rufiventris :D
Can't be
Cylindromyia because the bristles are too strong and if you look closely at the abdomen you would see it is higher than wide, not cylindrical :) It also can't be Eriothrix rufomaculata because it's the wrong time of year AND it only has 2 black vittae on the thorax :)
PS: duplicate thread removed :)
