The usual Gymnosoma rules apply, in that they are hard/impossible to identify to species from photos ;) BUT my guess (and it really is a guess, with little confidence) is G. nudifrons, but it is just a guess based on running the top (male) through the Central European key. :)

And, what are they doing? They are training to join the circus as acrobats! :D

Could this be the male protecting the female from further male attention after mating with her? I know this occurs in some species, and I have seen a similar thing in Conopids. I have an article somewhere if I can fish it out.
