I saw this old fly in Amstelveen, the Netehrlands. On Oak leafs bordering footbal field. Not small, not large 9 - 10 mm.
I have some doubt, but I'm inclined to say Tachinidae. It looks a bit like a worn Sarcophagid, but the eyes are more brown than red, and I feel it is much to bristly.
Well, what is it!? Can it be iDed?

But not obscura, I'ld say.
P. obscura is rather small, this fly much bigger, about twice that size. How many Phorocera's are there?

On the contrary, it is obscura. Obscura ranges from 4 to 12 mm.
