Who is that black devil - I can't find out.
It is about 7mm (edit!) long. Sternites: first dull, others shiny black.

so the thoracic dorsum should be "coarsely punctuated" (s.van Veen, p 56). I try hard, but I'm not sure if I do see that. The black dots are where the hairs beginn.

It's not a Cheilosia, but a species of Melanogaster!
Try to look in that genus!

The one I can not exclude is Melanogaster parumplicata. Is that correct?
