Habitat: Dark and dense vegetation around a small stream
Size: Small, ~4-5mm?
Date: 2008-05-10

Unfortunately there isn't a lot visible detail of this fly in this picture, but maybe...

Hello Stephane, thanks a lot for the help! I took some photos from a very closely related fly last year and identified as Norellisoma spinimanum by Paul.
