Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Smaller Tachinid --> cf. Phorocera obscura

Hello!

These 5-7 mm Tachinids were numerous on beach leaves at the forest (northwest Germany) in the last few days. I'm not sure, if no. 1 and 2 are of the same species.

Looks like Phorocera obscura, but I can't see the facial bristles (out of focus).
