Hello!

I found this 8-9 mm Syrphid today at a hedge (northwest Germany). Looks like a Blera fallax with mixed up abdomen colours... :)

Yep, female Blera fallax.
This sometimes happens, there are several types of morfological abberations which are the most clear in distinct colored species.
Dit you find this species in the Teutoburger Wald?

You may call it so, but the hills here (max. 260 m, fly found at about 170-180 m) are only the last foothills.
