Thread subject: Diptera.info :: interesting Sciomycid needs a name

Hello,
Today I saw this nice Sciomycid in our arboretum. Perhaps a species of Sepedon?

I'd say Elgiva cucularia.

This overwhelming consent makes my fly very happy :D!
The species is said to kill water snails, now I understand why it sat in the riparian vegetation close to the pond.
