Hello!

Location: Hungary

These tiny predators (few mm long) occur by the dozen everywhere in my garden. I guess that they are Hybotids and may belong to genus Platypalpus. Am I right? Thank you in advance.

After I had prepared to take some pictures from it the fly suddenly grabbed something undistinguishable hapless creature (maybe an aphid) and immediately began to eat greedily. Unfortunately I was unable to take better images because the wind blew strongly and the short scene wasn't good for an arrested moment.

The prey is a diptera too, possibly a chloropid.
