Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Ptychopteridae (ID by Paul Beuk and Andrius)

Found yesterday and was about 12mm
Because the head is so black, I can't see if it has ocelli.
But it has analbristels on the tibiae and a large analveine.....so I think it could by a Anisopodidae.
The only one I know with also strong bristles on the tibiae is Mycetophilidae, but they have not so strong analveine.

Unfortunately you are wrong :) This is Ptychoptera - phantom crane fly, family Ptychopteridae. Can't tell you the species though...

The genitalia look like those of Ptychoptera albimana, but the metatarsi of the hindlegs seem too dark.
