is this a male marci or hortulanus ? Found today on Hawthorn tree in Richmond Park. A few around but quite scattered.

The first one is neither.
It is a small species.
Since the legs seem to be black, the thorax is blackhaired and the abdomen whitish haired. This strongly suggests B. varipes.
Can't see metatars 3, so not sure.
