Hi flyforum,

Today I found a couple of Tipula(?), nicely 'bodypainted'

Is this a characeristic kind of Tipula?, to identify?

If wanted I've got more pictures from the wings and more.

Tipula lateralis, I believe.

Attached images (female and male) were ID'd by Allan Stubbs.

Thank you kindly for the nice drawings Alan!

These wingveins fits well!, also the thoraxpatterns, collor of the legs..
The body(length)size of 'my Tipula's', were about 20cm.

I think it is Tipula lateralis, you are right! :)
