Hi

I found this fly in Silgueiros - Viseu in 29th March 2006. In the same place of Dalmannia conopid.

It is Voriini, not sure about the genus.

EDIT: Title changed from "Tachinidae - Voriini - Voria or Athrycia?" to "Tachinidae - Voriini - Voria ruralis"

Jorge,

It is the genus Voria itself, and therefore V. ruralis.

It seems that the question was overlooked. Here it again:
In Europe which are the other Voria besides ruralis?

According to Fauna europaea, the genus is monospecific in Europe.

The Palearctic Manual also says Voria has only 1 species :)

Yes, I think there are more Prosena spp. in the Oriental region though :)

I haven't seen any yet but I think they are fairly uncommon. Crosskey (1976) lists 3 species: facialis, fulvipes & siberita :)
