i never know what is heary or not about
Syrphus torvus eyes
i need a more experienced eye:p
what do you think of this ?

Male Syrphus torvus are usually more densely hairy eyed than this. You really need the specimen, rather than a photo. The hairy eyes are very obvious in males. Ocassionally other species have sparse short hairs, but never as hairy looking as S torvus.

S. ribesii.
