In that case:
testacea-group, is safer... ask Jens-Hermann...

It is definetly a Myopa of the testacea group and I don?t believe that it is possible to identify the specimen on the photo. It could be M. arabica. For a sefe identification it is necessary to see the dusting at the abdomen, the colouration of the wing and the colour of the mesocutum.

The Myopa was very quick and I didn't had time to properly take photo. Does this wing image can help with the identification?
