Finally something is moving in the Italian undergrowth. Would this be a Tachinidae or a Muscidae?

Rome, Italy, 5/6 mm.

Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah

I know, it is difficult,
but this one is just far to slender of a Tachinid.
Moreover, the arista is plumose with excludes 90 % of the Tachinids
(and those with plumose arista are all(?) broadly built)

So,

it is indeed in Muscidae or Anthomyiidae.
