Ansbach, 2026-08-05, garden near old deciduous forest in Frankenhoehe Nature Park

While "shooting" the fly probably a female Blaesoxipha plumicornis, a significant smaller (~4 mm) one was all around.
I think this could be the male Blaesoxipha plumicornis?

Males Blaesoxipha are much greyer and shorter.
This is a Sarcophaga s.l.
