Hi everyone!

Unless I totally misinterpret the palps, this should be Hybomitra bimaculata, right?

Length 16 mm. Caught while hovering, which doesn't fit to the species description in "the book"!

22.5.2026, Germany, Upper Bavaria, northern bottom of Mt. Hochfelln, about 760 m a.s.l., coordinates 47.77608, 12.55457

Male Hybomitra lundbecki, very nice. Check the book and check for arpadi, but date and photo's virtually exclude arpadi.
