Sighted on 18.05.2026 in Germany, Baden Württemberg, in a flower meadow. Which fly is this?

Take a look at Ulidiidae (not sure, which species).

thank you for your information. I think it is Otites ruficeps. Here in the southwest, it is supposed to occur. Maybe someone else will still get in touch!

Hello Bernd, female Otites ruficeps is correct (black femora & tibiae).
