This Brachycera was found in August 2025 in the Swedish mountains on about +700 meters above sea level Close to a smal creek. Is it possible from this images to come up with something more specific that Brachycera? Wing about 5-7 mm

Confirmed. It is less known species with the peak occurrence in late summer and early autumn. Only few specimen could be swept, but more or less common in beer traps hung on trees...

I also collected a number of specimens of this species in a beer trap in the Netherlands. In my case in an oak tree.
