Hello everyone,
Google´s KI suggested Gastrolepta anthracina, but I think that doesn´t fit. Could it be Rhiniphora lepida? Length less 1 cm.
Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards), nearby deciduous forest (oak, Fagus ...), April 21st, 2025
Thanks in advance,
Michael

I think, it is a
Phania funesta
By the way:
Rhinophora lepida is no Tachinid, but - as the name suggests - a Rhinophorid... ;)

To be even more precise: the former Rhinophoridae are now a subfamily of the Calliphoridae. Besides, I'm also in favour of
Phania funesta.
Rhinophora lepida has a distinct stalk on wing vein R4+5 and flies later (from June onwards).
