Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Fannia?

Dear Forum,

This fly was sitting near the fly in my previous thread, "Anthomyiidae?"
and I then believed them to be the same (although male and female). Is this fly Fannia too?

Niek, please, give data of your image/observation. It is especialy useful in early spring.
In case that male Fannia from

and this one are from same species (it is very probable, especialy if data is early March ;) )

Excuses, I forgot to mention that all three pictures were taken today in my garden (Putte, Dutch/Belgian border).

Fannia manicata is an early species, the most siutable for 13 March in Dutch :D
