Thread subject: Diptera.info :: which Platypeza?

I have excluded Kesselimyia based on the wing venation and reached genus Platypeza.

Tending towards P. consobrina, but can P. hirticeps be excluded?

P. consobrina probably, but hirticeps cannot be excluded from these images (a better view of tergite I and/or a lateral view of the face are necessary..
