Hello clovis thank you for the Answer. Unfortunately I don't have a side view, just an enlargement. I have to remember to photograph these details in the future. I'll stick with Tipula sp.
Kind regards Karl.

That lead us to ̶T̶̶i̶̶p̶̶u̶̶l̶̶a̶ ̶a̶̶f̶̶f̶̶i̶̶n̶̶i̶̶s̶ Tipula mellea (with reserve on the few species of Lunatipula I don't know in Austria and without genitalia illustration on ccw).
A rare specie.
In a riparian forest?

Hello clovis thank you for the Answer. The discovery site is a flowering meadow between vineyards, and there is a small deciduous forest nearby.
Kind regards Karl.

My apologies, I mixed the name, I intended to say T mellea...
Habitat is quite stage for T mellea then, even if it can fly away.
I'll ask someone else his opinion (Pjotr) and let you know.
best
