this fly was about 5mm,
could it be Anthomyia pluvialis?
sorry, only a single shot,
found in Germany, Northrhine-Westfalia, Herten, Halde Hoheward, altitude 80m, 9. 8. 2025

From what I see:
- spot at wing base separated from dorsal spot
- the former small, upper border ventral to the insertion of sa seta (V. Michelsen, 1980)
female A. pluvialis is correct.
