Have a nice Day. One Question please. Can you tell from the photo whether it is a Sarcophagidae or one Tachinidae- species is.
I would be very grateful for an answer. Kind regards, Karl
Finding data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, August 1st, 2025, vineyard, size: 6-8mm, on Daucus carota

Hello Karl, it's a Tachinidae-species - unfortunately I cannot see enough details to give it a name.

Are you sure ? No acrostichals, no discals, bend with appendix and arista plumose....
