Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae: Carcelia dubia/lucorum

Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, 600m a.s.l. on April 19th 2025. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species based on these photos?
If needed, I can provide extra details, since I collected the specimen.

Yes, lucorum or dubia, genitalia needed to tell them apart.

Thank you all for your help! I'll try to look the the genitals, I hope not to damage the specimen in the process.
