Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tephritis from Spain

Photos taken today at industrial area in Saragossa, north-east Spain, 200 meters over sea, on *Asteriscus spinosus*.
Sadly I only had the mobile phone so photos are a bit blurry.
¿Any idea of the species?

I'd say Tephritis separata. Larvae in Picris.

Thanks! There is no Picris in the area, but these Asteriscus spinosus (not closely related with Picris) and a lot of Sonchus tenerrimus and Crepis vesicaria (both much more closely related with Picris)
