Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Scaptomyza graminum?; SW Spain

Yesterday, 02/09/2025, I found this tiny fly in the freezing cold. In Minas de Riotinto, Huelva province.

I think it might be Scaptomyza graminum. Is this correct?

Looks like S. graminum. Is it possible to see a picture from the side? Like so often among insects, genitalia are important for identification.

Yes, a lateral photo would be great But in this case it took off.
And without collecting the specimen it is very difficult to take a decent lateral photo. There is simply no space. :@ But I will try the next time.
So for the moment "possible graminum".
