9.2.2025 in our garden waste bin, about 4mm. Rheinbach near Bonn/Germany, 210m above sea level, huge forest close by. Is this Lotophila atra? Thank you so much, Jörg

Hi Jörg,
for me, the most likely is Crumomyia fimetaria because of the shiny scutellum. Besides C. fimetaria, i also find C. roserii in my garden at this time of the year but this can be ruled out here.
