Hello,
can someone help me with this 4,5 mm fly? With yellow tibia, I could find F. pruinosa and F. pallitibia.
Using the key in The European Fanniidae (Diptera) https://www.researchgate.net/publication/46961981_The_European_Fanniidae_Diptera I got to Fannia pruinosa. But I don't know if there are other similar species in Germany that are not described in the pdf.
* broad frons (> 1/3 of head width)
* tibiae and tip of femora yellow
* presutural acrostichal setae in 2 rows
* corners at the base of the otherwise dark abdomen are yellow? (not sure)
Northern Germany, Hildesheim, 4,5 mm, 09.11.2024, 107 m
Thank you in advance,
Stephan
