Found this fly under an apple tree (probably Malus sylvestris) on the coast of southern Norway on 3 November. IS there anyone who can identify this species?

Indeed a Drosophila (if one does not prefer splitting of this genus). The fly looks much like D. funebris, except of its 4v-index (length of las sectin of fourth wingvein divided by the length of its penultimate section). It is 1.3 to 1.4 in D.funebris, but here about 2.0. Thus: Drosophila sp.

Thank you very much for the reply and the explanation. I tried to key it (Mike's Insect Keys) but think I went wrong somewhere...

I am suggesting a dark D. suzukii

By a detailed picture of abdominal end the Lorinś suggestion might be confirmed - or not.

Thanks to both of you! I caught a male D. suzukii in the same place, so the suggestion is plausible.

Not very clear photo but yes, the acute oviscapt points to D. suzukii.
