C. vomitoria has red beard, this makes this species unique in Europe. Vicina has black beard, but some other species have black beard, too.

vomitoria has gena, epaulletes, anterior spiracles all dark.
Gena for vicina is red. This fly has very dark colour to be vicina. :P
