Hello,
this appr. 3 mm-fly walked on grass in a moist area with salty ground on July 5. Location: Aseleben, south side of Suesser See (Sweet Lake) in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Could it be Geomyza subnigra?

Thank you for answers!
Hans

With 1 pre-sutural and 2 post-sutural dorsocentral bristles and rather dark costal cell, this should be a female of Geomyza subnigra indeed.
