Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Calyptopogon ? => Macropeza albitarsis

Hello,

I think it looks a lot like the Calyptopogon in the gallery. Are these very long tarsi 3 a clue to the genus?

Macropeza. The common species is M. albitarsis.

Oh great, thank you so much !
I saw that in Europe we have Macropeza albitarsis and Macropeza navasi. I can't find anything on the second, is there a something visible on the photo to exclude this species ?

I don't know what Macropeza navasi looks like. I have not seen the description.
