Palpal proximal segment with several bristles.
Tibial end of legs 1 with strictly uniseriate row of bristles or spines on a basal ridge.
NOT: Tibial ends of legs 2, and/or legs 3, with a reduced spur or absent. BUT Tibial ends of legs 2, and legs 3 with a pair of subequal spurs !!
single-row tibial crest of p1 lobus-like to lobed and mostly very narrow;
r1 very short, the r1 opening in c strongly approximated to the rs transverse vein;
hypopygium compact and often small;
anterior tibiae without spines in the basal pubescence.

It could be the undescribed male of S.platyventralis as like the female, it possesses 2 tibial spurs on the mid and hind legs, although the 2 tibial spurs of the mid legs are subequal. It also has a very short r1.
