Thread subject: Diptera.info :: tiny Rhamphomyia (?) -> Platypalpus

Hi,
These are photos of Berlin Ivy (Hedera helix) in October, and one of its visitors is this tiny fly. It has a short proboscis and I would put it in genus Rhamphomyia. A confirmation (or another genus proposal) is probably the best that these pics allow.
Thanks, Sundew

No, this is Platypalpus (Hybotidae).

Ha - I wanted to name the thread "tiny Hybotid" first, but then I remembered a previous proboscis discussion leading to Rhamphomyia. Many thanks for correction!
