Sierra Nevada, Granada, Southern Spain. 09 February 2008. 1100 m., 3 mm. length

from a reply of David Gibbs in a previous post: "hairs on frons dark in gratus, pale in incisus, the latter is generally a much larger species"

on my photos of 09 Feb. 08, all females have pale hairs, and in all males seems dark :|

do you have a photo of the plant where this fly is sitting on?
I want see in full size the plant. ;)
