Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tipulidae?

Hello Forum,

one more fly from the alder marshland in Hagen (D) 175 m above sea level. This photo I took on May the 8th 2007. The plant in the background is Equisetum silvaticum.

Is it a Tilupidae specimen? Is it possible be get a closer ID?

Limoniidae I'd say..

Yes. Limoniidae. Possibly Limnophila sp.
