Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Polietes sp.? => Polietes lardarius

Hello everyone,

I found this fly yesterday in the Black Forest, southwest Germany. I estimate the size to be around 10 mm. I think it's the genus Polietes. May be a female of Polietes lardarius?

female Polietes lardarius is correct
